until the leeds v wigan cc semi final Thaler was head and shoulders the best ref in the league. a couple of blunders in that game and he is just not as good now, maybe thats down to confidence I dont no but his standard has slipped. (i dont really care as he gives the dodgy decisions Leeds way)
maybe RL is just a difficult sport to ref because of the pace it is played at, i dont know as i have never reffed a game b4
