Looks like a really good campaign although obviously it depends how far and wide this is promoted. Typicall RFL though - it will be formally brought to the market on Monday a week too late!! Huddersfield or Hull + Leeds or Wakefield could be out by then + they have missed the week leading up to the first week of the playoffs. It's had 30,000 views on the un-named video sharing website, let's keep spreading the word, and get these players into the national conscience.

Phase 2 of 'Operation Extraordinary' - get Big Eorl on Strictly, Stomkins in the next series of Celeb BB and Ryan Hall Dancing on Ice; I gather they're all quite popular examples of modern televisual entertainment? You could also take a punt at getting Gareth Hock into dictionary corner on Countdown, but that's a bit of a longshot.

Great that we are finally promoting our players aswell as our sport.



As i said when the BT RU deal was announced, the RFL should be seeing if we could grab some of that screen time Sky Sports will now have, use it to build up the profile of our players, give a production company huge access, use some clever ideas and get the names and faces and personalities of our players out there.

Even the ones who are a bit ugly and not the most popular will raise recognition of the game, for every golden boy we need a pantomime villain. This is one of the few things that show the individuality and humanity (even through the 'heroes' thing) of the game, rather than the big, tough, meathead/robot stereotype we seem to fall in to too often.
