The facts are, no matter how much you fantasise, first that it is OK to take this drug except when it is present in the system during a game (ie taken 12 hours or less before kick off) and secondly only Gleeson failed the test, nobody else.
Which makes it rather fairer to assume that if any other players were taking it they were using it legally and correctly and that Gleeson is the lone idiot, a position he unfortunately has held before as supporters at his previous clubs will testify.

Your argument is probably valid if Gleeson was knowingly breaking the rules regarding this substance i.e. he and any other player at Hull using this stuff [uknew[/u that it had to be cleared out of your system before a game.
The argument from Gleeson and Long seems to contradict that likelyhood though doesn't it? They seem to be arguing that they were told it was OK and Long would have had no concern if he was given (and followed) instructions to not take any within 12 hours of a game. They could of course be lying.
So, either Long and Gleeson were taking it, (Long either did or didn't know that it took 12 hours to clear the system and it was illegal to have it in the system during a game), and they both knowingly or unknowingly had it in their system during games and every other player at Hull FC who was on this stuff (and advised by the same club conditioner that Long and Gleeson were) was using it in accordance with the rules, or, all the players on this stuff were likely of the same mistaken opinion as Long and Gleeson that it was OK and were just fortunate not to have been tested themselves.
I happen to think it more likely that all the players taking this substance were given the same wrong advice either by the conditioner or Long and could well have had this substance (in all innocence) in their system during games.
