| Improved refereeing would do for me, too many bad decisions one after the other at crucial points in the match going against teams and killing them off.
Games included in your season pass and possibly give the contenders a week off as too many of the teams have looks tired IMO!

| I keep hearing that reducing the number of playoff games would 'significantly reduce' income for clubs. How exactly? Most regular season attendees are season ticket holders and will still turn up even if their team cant make the playoffs yet still has 10 games to go. Secondly, the teams in the playoffs will have their income 'significantly reduced' because they miss out on one or two poorly attended games? i dont think so.

| The top five was the best system that we've had, IMO. It gave enough weighting to those that finished higher up, we lost one club every week and the only chance of a repeat fixture was in the final itself.
If that means your season is over earlier on, then tough. Who's fault is that? Super League needs to promote elite performance, not some "everybody gets a trophy day" style mentality.
As for ticket prices, am I the only one who doesn't think that £15 for a semi final is unreasonable? Do RU clubs have to give away freebies to Heineken Cup matches? Do football clubs give away FA Cup tickets? I don't believe that play-offs should be included in the season ticket (after all, you know when you buy it that you are just buying a ticket for 13 home games) and I don't think that play-off tickets should be "dirt cheap". The responsibility lies with the clubs and the RFL to make their "premium" product something that is worth paying for.

Quote ="Old_Faithful_IAKW"It's a difficult situation. If it goes to 5 or even 6, plenty of teams will have nothing to play for after about half the season and, theoretically, will lead to more games played a low intensity (not something we want). But the crowds and the continuance of the one sided scoreline suggests something needs to be ">change.'"
Agree with this and I think it shows we may have too many teams in the league.

| Shoot me down for saying this, but surely a good old fashioned relegation dogfight would keep the intensity going for the bottom half of the table?
Oh yeah, my bad, you dont get consequences for pants in super league

| If the low attendances are a result of fans not being able to afford extra matches on top of their season tickets or clubs charging too much then why not try them with reduced prices.
I believe I am correct in saying that the club only get "expenses" from play-off games and the rest goes to the RFL, so who sets the prices in the first place. If it's the clubs then they will not lose out by setting lower prices as they will still get their "expenses".
