Always a rock in defence Gary was the bravest Fullback I've ever seen , always putting his body on the line game after game , the fact that he has gone on to play on for almost a decade after leaving the Reds , putting in sterling service for Whitehaven and 76 games for his hometown Club is a testimony to his ability to all his Clubs .
Gary Always got a great ovation from the Willows faithfull on his returns so if you're free next Sunday Gary come down and give the old girl one final goodbye .
