I dont think a NSW win would be a shock.
With no Inglis, Folau or Hodges the Queensland 3/4's looks very average.
I think Lockyer is on his way out - Thurston + Slater are the danger men.
Expect NSW to be fired up to the hill and expect them to win by 10 in Origin 1.

There's a few half backs who aren't great in defence but do alright.

Aye, but the wedge QC will be asking for means he will have to do more then just alright in both attack and defence...its not just RL fans who question the lads abillity to defend, the union lads do too.
Would you prefer to be defending either side of QC or running at him?
Good luck to him if he does try RL again...I hope he proves his doubters wrong, Id rather his wage went on marketing initiatives.

Nah, any positives will be lost when he returns to union...Makes more sense to bring Folua back first imho...the face of GWS Afl playing for Gus's Penrith  icon_twisted.gif" alt="icon_twisted.gif" title="Twisted Evil" />
The money saved could go into off-setting the cost of improving the whole match day experience...cut price public transport on All match days, kids in cheap with junior club membership etc...deals like Penrith tried on Monday night should be the norm, give ppl an incentive to get away from the TV and back into the grounds. |
