Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Some elements of the new site are unfinished, such as; page numbering and quotations. We will fix these minor issues as soon as we can, please bear with us. If you are having problems logging in, please try a different browser or platform, if problems persist then email support@rlfans.com

You'd hope Catalans being in SL would have at least helped. Look at NZ now, it's widely stated that their success (current 4 nations champs and world cup holders afterall) is down to having a team playing in the NRL every week. />
I'm not sure how long it took to take effect though if I'm honest.

The difference is that there may only be ONE team in NZ but there are dozens of Kiwis in the ARL. They effectively have 3 or 4 teams wiorth off top talent to pick from. />
In France there is one team playeing at the top level and er that is it. />
They need a second team in France and a few more players plying their trade in SL in England and then we will see the benfits for France.
