Sorry Gutters but Barry McKenzie won't be able to watch much NRL or its poorer relation SL whilst living in the land of the free owing to the fact it's about as popular in the USA as Julian Assange is with the US Government over there right now.

Really? I would have thought that after living in London for the better part of a year you would be used to an enviroment where nobody is interested in League.
I mean to say, you have been able to comment on the state of the NRL and ESL without actually even going to the ground nearest to you to watch the only Pro ESL team on offer in London, so how is this different to being in the USA? I am sure there are plenty of bars frquented by other Single Australian Men that you can go to and watch the Sharkies getting hammered every week without having to get up at 6am to do it......so in reality bazza, there is no difference between where you are now and where you are going to next.......'"
Thats a good point Gutters.
I don't have the TV ratings for RL in the USA but from what I've seen on telly there during recent trips unless it involves shooting a ball through a hoop, driving big cars around an oval, playing baseball or wearing padding, a helmet and shouting 'hut hut' a lot those Seppos don't want to know about it.
