Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Some elements of the new site are unfinished, such as; page numbering and quotations. We will fix these minor issues as soon as we can, please bear with us. If you are having problems logging in, please try a different browser or platform, if problems persist then email support@rlfans.com
Instead of guessing and then spouting it out as fact, why don't you find out what really happens? Ask your own Clubs what happens to the money from tickets they sell themselves.
Hopefully the RFL make a decent wedge out of it which they they can use to improve marketing etc of the game. 50k is not a disaster, how much a ticket was it?
I had a word with my pigeons and my whippets, and they all agree with me that the Magic Weekend is a joke and a disgrace, and that no fixture must ever be played more than 10 miles from the M62 or A580 ever again.

The RFL get paid a lot by the Edinburgh tourist board. The clubs have one less round of games, but the same income. Allowing us room for a mid-season international to help the England side compete. The only thing that doesnt work about the weekend is that. Because the French are still rubbish.
