Many questioned this new angle of promotion. It didn't engage, no pun intended, those it was aimed at with any level of success.
I'd say it was a campaign designed to give an extra edge to the event and hopefully hike up ticket sales. It appears to have failed miserably given the numbers mentioned in the article and the lack of any announcements from the RFL.
I feel this year will be the last event at Murrayfield. The city is great but the stadium just doesn't cut it for me.

I don't agree. Putting awful stuff like this out there does more damage than good. This is not a viral ad, it's the main promotion of the event. When did it go from being 'Magic' to 'Wacky'??
