Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Some elements of the new site are unfinished, such as; page numbering and quotations. We will fix these minor issues as soon as we can, please bear with us. If you are having problems logging in, please try a different browser or platform, if problems persist then email support@rlfans.com

Quote ="Saddened!"It makes me laugh. I mentioned at the weekend that if he had said what he said on Sky in another sport he would have been all over the papers, forced to appologise and fined by the authorities. />
"Please leave you doubled over fatherless child" was quite a naughty thing to say, so why wasn't he sent off at the time if the ref heard it?
It's quite embarassing for Super League to have such a gentle, girly player up on charges for violence. It's just wrong. It'll be the first case I've heard of where a player turns up for a disciplinary hearing only to be laughed at and told to 'man up'.
Knowing Fielden these days he'll probably break down and have to have his hand held or he won't go in.'" />
Not sure if the ref did hear it, it could clearly be seen what he said on a replay though.
/>
On a seperate note I think Calderwood may also be in trouble after having a go at the ref and TJ. He was also clearly heard swearing on the ref's mic.

Quote ="Tony Catsmith"Personally i don't think the ref heard it as such, when fielden got pulled over before the re-start(and you probably didn't see this on sky as bridge lined up the kick) he was having a right pop at the Touchies behind the sticks and was seperate from the wigan huddle. He's probably said something ott at that point as well.'" />
I was quite near and could hear him. Couple of expletives but nothing well OTT.

Oh dear. It was O'Carroll (a fellow prop) and he broke his eye socket due to making an awkward contact. Morley has tackled the biggest and the best in the world and anyone that doubts his status doesn't know rugby league.
/>
My favourite Morley tackle was on the big stage at the NRL Grand Final when he squared things up after the Rooster's star player, Brad Fitler, had been taken out by a headbut and had blood flowing from a bad cut causing him to knock on (the tackler was then Aussie international Richard Villisanti).
When play resumed Morley steamed in, hit him with everything and rattled the Warriors, it changed the momentum of the game and showed the Warriors who was the real hard man out there.
