Quote TFC="TFC"Middlesborough is in teesside
'"
"Teesside" isn't a county afaik, it's a conurbation. That [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middlesbroughwell known bastion of knowledge[/url Wikipedia states:
Quote TFCHistorically part of the North Riding of Yorkshire, in 1968 the town became the centre of the County Borough of Teesside, which was absorbed by the non-metropolitan county of Cleveland in 1974. In 1996 Cleveland was abolished, and Middlesbrough became a unitary authority, within the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire.'"
If you want to follow the whims and fancies of MP's and Councillors trying to shift political boundaries to maximise their own voting potential then fine, but it seems the claim that Boro is in Yorkshire remains perfectly valid.
