My name is Susan Hawkins age 38 from Bradford, I’m a concerned parent of 2 young adults who work match days for a club they are proud to support . Both my son and daughter are still waiting to be paid. Wages were due on the 10th July but both of my kids were fobbed off with the excuses such as tax code errors or there’s a problem with bank account numbers / sort codes then a false promise of you will receive wages on the 23rd July . They are still awaiting wages. Seeing my children in distress about the non payment of wages I messaged Bradford Bulls on Facebook messenger. This message was read and ignored ( very respectful lol ) . Both my kids and I would like to meet Mr Chalmers face to face to resolve this issue immediately .

I have emailed Councillors at Bradford Council and I have also emailed the sports minister with my concerns about the unfair treatment and non payment of wages of your young fans / employees . Next step will be an employment advice from accas

Well I guess we've had a decent run without any rumours of financial problems! If it's any consolation, I've seen from many fans that communication via email, social media etc is ignored by the club. I've remained cautious of Chalmers due to the circumstances when he first took over. I've continued until recently to pay into the lottery but to my knowledge never get any communication via email or post from them. I'm assume I was still paying into the right account but I've lost track! I've certainly had no letter why I stopped! I at least get regular updates from Bullbuilder about where those funds go.

If I was having trouble getting payment I'd be up there in person and not leaving until I received it. I'd want to see the organ grinder too rather than get fobbed off as we all know there are a few up there that aren't up to it. Hopefully it's just an administrative balls up. I don't think social media is the right way to communicate with these matters especially considering the issues we've had with it up there (spelling, general inaccuracy etc). I wouldn't be surprised if that side of things was ignored.

At 9:17 pm on the 13th belcki, a known troll, posts a number of serious allegations against the club.



At between 9:37 and 9:58 belcki is called out 3 times and asked to reveal themselves and their evidence.



At 10:05, a whole 7 minutes later, a new account is registered under the name Mable1980.



Over the course of the 14th respected and long registered posters contradict belcki’s claims, showing him to be a liar.



Today this new account posts claims backing up one of belcki’s claims.



It all seems far too convenient to me. And how did this person stumble across this thread? It’s not as if it’s title is “people not paid by the bulls”, it would be a huge coincidence for them to stumble across the discussion less than an hour after the claims were made.



I hate trolls and liars, and I believe that belcki and Mable1980 are both.



In fact I would go as far as requesting that the ip addresses of the posters be compared by a moderator, and if the match both should be banned.

I’m sorry that I chose this post to air my grievances but I’m not sticking up for anyone other then my kids in response to the previous post. Is this a fans forum which allows freedom of speech and opinion .

Of course. Unless you're just trolling and have completely made up the rumours. Then in which case i hope legal action is taken against you.



Beleckis "rumours" got called out by a source we know we can all trust.



If they are true, then hold Chalmers to account and i would support you 100%. But if you've made them up, the consequences could be far greater than a few bites on a forum.

Anyway doesn't Mick now work for the club? Im sure he could tell us.

Mick would be best advised sticking to what he is good at, which is commentating on the matches.



And in any case, he will only be able to relay what he is told which may or may not be the whole truth. Time will tell I won't be losing sleep about it though!

I'm sure if Susan's got a case it will be sorted out. We all know enough people up at the club to know if it does get sorted too.



Belcki's not as bright as he/she thinks and will slip up eventually. In the meantime let's not give it the oxygen.

I'm sure anyone who works for the club would tow the company line. And even if they didn't, a number of those who work there are too well known to be "economical with the truth" to pay attention to anyway.

Can I ask, while not doubting anything you have said, why have you emailed councillors at Bradford council and the Sports Minister. If it was my kids that hadn’t been paid I would be more inclined to go see the people who have not paid them.

If my boss didn’t pay me I wouldn’t email the council or the sports minister.

Get yourself down there and demand answers, don't bloody send a social media message.

Unfortunately you're not far wrong. The way of the world nowadays to complain on social media to get attention rather than doing it the most effective or even the "right" way.



I tend to agree with what you and a couple of others say. I'd be up at Odsal demanding to speak to the man in charge and I wouldn't be leaving until I did or the police turned up to remove me. If on the other hand I was the person who hadn't been paid, the last thing I'd be doing is showing up to work. If the place I work didn't pay me on the agreed day and the agreed amount, they wouldn't get a minute's work out of me until they did.



If this is true from Mabel, and I have no right to say it is or isn't, then it's a bad sign for the club, but it's a worse sign for the people who haven't been paid what they're owed. And in fact any other employees at Odsal who will surely be fearful of the same happening to them. Except the website and social media guy, that fecker doesn't deserve to be paid in washers.

Do you know if other staff members are affected (players aren't)?

How long have they worked there?

Is this the first payday the arey expecting? (If it is even blue chips screw that up generally. It's not a sign they are going bust. Its generally a sign they missed payroll, have tried to squeeze in and failed.)

As payment was 10/07 did they get paid correctly on 10/08 i.e. this months payroll?



Why haven't you plonked yourself in the shop and told them you aren't moving until you see Chalmers? Do it!

Maybe unconnected with Susan's plight but I've heard someone is spreading lots of rumours and out right lies around. Not just online but elsewhere too. Obviously this person has an axe to grind or an interest in sowing discord. So don't believe everything you hear/read.

As Adeybull says on the other forum, there's a lot of work being done at the minute to try discredit/destabilise Bradford.

Just to let all of you know my son was finally paid his wages. Also we tried calling before using social media . Maybe Bradford Bulls should look at issues in their communication methods and offer employees training in communication.

People have been saying that about the "Media Manager" for about 18 months, and yet he's still making the same errors and still ignoring most online communication.
