Apart from Blackmore, I think they're all good pick ups. I know Farrells probably a player we all love to hate, but he's a top performer in this league.



I really would love to see Sammut back. Yes he'll be 36 but he's still tearing it up and we wouldn't die wondering. He still lives locally to Bradford I believe. Treking to Barrow 3 times a week must take its toll.

Putting 2 and 2 together and probably getting 5 id say there was a new face at training tonight. Probably done an interview and its getting published tomorrow. Half back on loan for the rest of the year? Woulnt be massively suprised if it was someone like Jamie Ellis. Hes 4th choice now at York at best. Could do some sort of job for us for month.

Now that Newcastle have pulled the fulltime contracts from a bunch of players, is there anyone we would want? Or want back? I think Ollie roberts could do a job for us, also Brad Gallagher. He lost his way under JK but I liked him in the academy and I’m sure Dunning & Beattie could get more out of him

Jamie Ellis would be a perfect fit ( pardon the pun ) for your club , looks like he’s eaten Walker and crossley.

Robson seems to have gone off the radar. Those few games he plyed for us when we restarted after covid he looked like he was destined for big things in SL. Not sure whsts happened there

Seeing mention of Hitchcox (again) and now Iaone. Both would not fit the quota at Leigh next season (always assuming that things go to plan - not a given), both would add to your side and Bongser would be pleased to see them get another gig over here (and watch them on Bulls TV). Jy only made 5 appearances for Leigh this season (for reasons explained on another thread and then before the arrivals of Ferguson & Charnley) but notched a couple. Mark has made 19 solid appearances, not big, big minutes but, boy can he clatter an oppo!

We have lost 2 Halfs to injury in Lilley and Jowitt so we may get round it that way. Dunning mentions potential HB signing in T and A today.

If we sign any Newcastle players for next season I’d be really happy with either Oliver Roberts, Ellis Robson or Josh Woods.

Is Mitch Clark on their books or is he there on loan? I'd take Mitch back.

Real Shame for Newcastle that. Could seriously set them back as trying to recruit PT players to travel all the way up there could prove challenging.

Really good grassroots setup at Newcastle but perhaps too early to go FT. Hope it doesn't wither on the vine up there as there's a decent appetite for the game and the Kingston Park ground is ideally situated.
