I had a quick look in the shop after work and some of the new gear looks good, other stuff looks a bit cheap. The padded jackets look good and some of the training gear is nice. Some of the training gear has the Bulls and Kappa logos stuck on. I had a look at both of the kits and the sizes are way off. I'm usually a small and I had to try on a large and even then it was very snug. I'd definitely recommend trying the items on before you buy.

Totally leaving aside the design and colours, and just looking at the quality of the cloth and stitching we're a million miles from the Kooga stuff we got when we were in SL. To be fair, those were way 'over-engineered' and I still have a couple from that period which have been more than well worn and still look fine (and still fit..).
Since I pretty much always buy, at least one, replica playing shirt per year I'm happy to concede that I'm not too bothered about the shirt only lasting one season before falling apart. Its already been said but I got my home shirt today, I’m usually a small - medium. I’ve had to buy an XL.
Sizing massively off. Let’s hope they can handle the exchanges in January when the orders come back.
The event today was good. Well organised and seemed to go smooth enough (apart from my season ticket needing to be re printed because my name wasn’t on the card!)

Kid has got one and to be honest it ain't THAT bad quality, sizing is mental but that's italian sports gear for you. Cycling jerseys are XXL for a 40inch chest.
I think it was Bulliac that mentioned buying one each year so it only has to have a lifespan of 12 months and looking back through the home shirt drawer Asics produced some utter tat, ISC produced some cheap end shirts with all printed logos so my take is it's more of the same. It's not a symptom of the new regime or anything else. />
Come Jan I will buy mine and add to the 20 odd in the drawer I've bought since I started the stupid tradition and I won't even think about the money they have cost (or I will burst into tears!) |

One thing I forgot in my previous post. My grandson had a free shirt to pick up with the season ticket offer. Like I said he's only 13 and with the sizing he needed a large. With large not being a junior shirt the wife had to pay £10 upgrade but still cheap for a replica shirt.

Agree with this. whilst the club are certainly missing out on a portion of short sales due to quality/design issues I'd imagine there still selling the current offering to majority of supporters, and for a shirt that's worn 13 or 14 times a year its ok. Whilst it would be lovely if we got high quality shirts at current pricing its not financially realistic. What there could be a market for is a limited run of high quality shirts, cotton, embroidered badges, probably retro etc to satisfy the demand of those who aren't satisfied with the design/quality of the match replica shirts. Probably have to accept that they would be significantly more expensive in £60-£75 bracket. I seem to remember gang of four launched something similar in their brief reign.

I would definitely buy one. Wakefield have done one that looks great

Yeah understand that side of it but these type of tops do not come around very often, would imagine a lot of people would buy them alongside as long as the club dont start releasing them every year or 2
