To me it looks like Green has put money in, and taken out such security as he can.



But the point everyone seems to be somehow missing is IF the HMRC liquidate us then plainly they could set aside any such charge so it certainly wouldn't serve as any sort of self-preference which frankly I think is a poor inference to make.



I have been saying for a while now that it is plainly obvious to me Green must in one way or another be putting money in to keep us going. Maybe some more of us should remember that.

If this charge against the stadium went in at say the same date the winding up order was made it could look a bit "opportunist" and I'd venture HRMC might have something to say about that. Did they occur on the same day?



Green like the failed owners before him must have put money in. I suspect he won't get any out when we go into admin.



As for Odsal the place as it is now is a financial millstone. It could be an asset if the land were sold for landfill/redevlopment etc and used to build a smart new multi pupose stadium (like the one at Leigh or Warrington) on the site of Richard Dunn.



If any good could come of this it could be the RFL and Council getting their heads together to make it happen and give the south of the city something it's needed for years.



Whether there's a professional RL team still around by then who knows.

If the monthly wage bill is a six figure sum, as reported on back page of T&A, then the only way the club could have kept afloat for so long is if MG or others were putting money in. The club would have run out of cash ages ago if not.

On a serious note, I'm tempted by Toronto if Bulls went under. At least it should be a laugh and I'm trying to weigh up if the wife is stupid enough to agree to me attending a home game, not realising what that actually entails.

Well no Bulls for me would mean I may just stick to Grand finals and internationals if I can be bothered.

That would be it for rl for me. Couldn't bring myself to support anybody else and wouldn't be bothered about internationals if I've not watched it all year. It would all leave a bitter taste. Possibly start watching the NRL.

I've always thought it would be good to attend the pick of matches as a neutral but do you think you'd ever get hooked into supporting another team? I have a bit of a soft spot for Castleford which is not a million miles away from where I live. Would that be wrong if the worst happens?

I was going to try the same tactic with my wife, but I might get a bit more of a favourable response to the odd trip to the sunny med than your trans atlantic attempt!

If the worst happens (and its still just an if) I might just pack in watching RL altogether after 30 years, or I'll attend the odd game as a neutral, the cup finals and GF's I've attended as a neutral have been great, but I cant see myself ever attaching to another club like I follow Bradford, that's not how it works in my head/heart.

Why not go for your home town team....?

When the old Northern expired in November 1963, I was a schoolboy and went to Batley a few times (they had taken my favourite player at the time Coggle). After being to the Mount in the last two seasons and enjoying the atmosphere and quaintness of the ground if the worst were to happen I may go there to get my fix.

The Bulls are not going to be allowed to go to the wall, so you Bulls fans will have a club to support next season.

I know I'm tempting some wrath here and please don'the all try murder me at once but...



IF we went to the wall and IF that New Bulls/Northern thing turned out to be an actual thing rather than a (pretty committed) trolling attempt, would anyone support them? If they did turn out to be serious I might be tempted to at least give them a chance.

If the actual situation arose though. Bulls went under, a new club turns up in it's wake. I guess it depends on what level we're talking. I already go and watch my local amateur side when I can. If the new club was at the same level, I wouldn't give a flying one. If they entered at Champ 1 or higher, then yeah, I think I'd give them a chance.



It's all total bull though, so it's totally theoretical.
