I think I/we have a bit of confusion here on who is considered a stop gap signing. This thread is discussing the possible signing of a Wakey player. I accept Rinaldi was signed as a stop gap player. The Wakey player rumour I assume would be a long term replacement after the departure of Rinaldi. |

I'm sorry but I don't want us to sign any of them. I'm sick of these bargin basement players we sign every year. Yes we get the occasional diamond in the rough like Jimmy Evans, but for the rest it's poor and inconsistant performances and proping up the table.

His none playing history would seem to highlight the potential disruption that he could bring to the squad/club. We just don't need that . . . and therefore him.
On the positive side, if the coach driver didn't show up . . . it wouldn't be an issue (allegedly)  |
