Have the Bulls considered hire of the Shay stadium at Halifax as there is a combination of sitting and standing available.Fixtures could be arranged with the RLFC for games to be played on a Thursday evening with Sky in permanent attendance.this would enable the fans to enjoy their weekends .

I heard on the radio yesterday that Mr Osborne has scrapped Yorkshire Forward. Aren't they pledging something like 4m to our scheme?

I heard today they are still honouring any agreements, one of those to somewhere not a million miles from Odsal. Itdepends whether there is anything in writing from YF agreeing to contribute a set sum, which somehow I doubt.

I always understood that they would be paying "around £x"



no actual contribution was specified, so we will get nothing.

Well Leeds Forward have cut a lump from the council's park in the city centre plan due to overall cuts in funding, so I guess we need to brace ourselves.

OSV's pretty much dead in the water in the current climate, and a I suspect a council approved move for us to move to VP would kill it off for good.

is moving to valley parade such a bad idea? its alot better then odsal anyway, yeh it would be great to get a new stadium but for the time been a move to vp would be good

The issues with Valley Parade are not the stadium. They are the area it's located in, which is not considered one of the safest in Bradford.



And when I say that, it's in the same way that sticking your hand in a doberman's mouth and jabbing it in the eye with your other hand, isn't considering one of the smartest things to do.

There's also the fact of us having to pay the council for leaving Odsal early.



There's also likely to be reluctance on the clubs part should a ground share with City mean anything less than Bulls being equal partners in terms of stadium ownership. Why should we be tenants when we have our own home?

What happened at the council meeting? Did it happen?

The guy behind this is a good guy trying to get his bit done, and I think thats a catchy logo and image for OSV, so his bit is good....its just the rest of it.



With the wakey announcement today prompting me to think about our fiasco, anyone heard of any progress at all? My guess will be no...

yeah, should have left it alone with hindsight...tell you what, only post if you have something positive....that'll see it drop of the front page in no time.

I'd like to think that progress is being made, but the lack of news is surely not a good sign is it?

There is progress happening behind the scenes.

If that is correct, they should be keeping the updates a little more regular where possible. When was the last time we had some news? Where exactly are we in the process?

Dunno, to be honest mate.



Most of the schemes at Odsal seemed have endless meetings where it was said we could go ahead, which only led to a big splash in the T&A saying "Odsal gets the green light", and then to immediately find that some new obstacle had been erected. I do try to be optimistic, I really do, but you get worn down eventually.

I think the club need to be giving the fans at least some indication of what the crack is, even if it's bad news. They told us at the forum that there was a meeting at the end of August with the council but since then nothing, which unfortunately leads to speculation and an increasingly gloomy outlook by the fans.

At a recent meeting with Ryan he was in a very positive frame of mind about Odsal. He, like us thought the change of council and the cuts across the board would spell the end of the project.



The truth is that very positive noises are being made and the project is still very much on the agenda.



The OSV is no longer linked to the 2012 games and is more about providing a facility for Bradford.
