Exactly the point I was going to make. They've done it with Fev in the past. I can almost guarantee that if Leeds needed him this year, they'd mysteriously re-sign him before the end of the season too as they did with Luke Briscoe. />
End of the day beggars can't be choosers at the moment so if they have to do this to get around the loan rules, so be it. At least it's a player with a history with the club and more likely to give a monkeys.

Maybe our use of his services this season was the transfer fee?
He was out of contract at the end of the season, and his contract had the usual 'if an SL club comes in etc' so, on that basis, it was probably the best outcome for us? I know we had to allow him to leave but no-one said we had to allow him to go for nothing.
