After yesterday perhaps the leftover pie should be put in the microwave?

I think the pies need to referring to food standards. A couple in the batch were perfectly fine and tasty with plenty of meat. All too often though, despite the promise of a golden crust, the filling is invariably rancid.

Nonsense. The only thing I look forward to at Odsal these days is the pie. Or in some cases the pulled pork. Actually, yesterday was so terrible I had to have both...

That is exactly why I am a perennial pessimist. I am not wrong very often.

We may be not at our league peak, but this pales into insignificance against the RETURN OF THE PIE. Pukka Pies to boot. Back in the day whatever ground you went to was known for the reputation of its pies, and that was always the first stop for the away fan. I don't know if summer rugby was part of the decent pie becoming an endangered species but it is good to have them back. Not that I need them.
