Top bloke and player for us. Gutted when he went to Wigan, but for me no doubt we had his best years, he was never the same away from us. His type of game was brutal and I guess his body has suffered over the years. Totally off topic. The Huddersfield Examine yesterday reported the Keith Mason issue will cost Giants £400k. Shame, couldn't happen to a nicer club!!

Easy to forget just how good he was. How he developed from Barry McDermott's punch bag into the dominant forward in SL was a joy to behold. Intelligent & articulate off the field as well. A real shame it went down hill after going to Wigan.

Forgot about his run-ins with Barrie Mac - there was something resembling two stags in autumn about their match-ups...though I think the bad feeling [if there ever was any true [i:126amvnwbad feeling[/i was mainly from Barrie, who never got over being bested by his namesake Brian, so carried it on with Stu.
