Quote anarkik="anarkik"I'd be a little peeved if I were the players, knowing how hard they've worked, how appreciated recent performances have been by the supporters, and given the club has five hundred thousand coming in... Still i imagine it might be a provisional arrangement of some sort, let's hope a down payment before they get paid up to date later in the month..'"
I imagine the pledges are coming in bit by bit. If the story is true that the players haven't been paid in full then as you say I hope they will be as soon as enough money comes in.
As you say if I were them I'd be a bit fed up. They'll all have bills to pay, and I expect the same thing will affect the other employees.
The thing that concerns me is that time is running out and we've heard bugger all out of the club since Tuesday. In my line of work I know that in a crisis it's important to keep up communication even if it's saying little that's new and just going over old ground.
Silence is the last thing you want, as rumours like this spring up. The next thing you know player so and so will be rumoured to be leaving for a transfer fee and the fans will get more restless and support will ebb away from the efforts to stay afloat.
