fair comment. worrying thing is if karl had been in a bulls shirt this season he would have been our top tryscorer.Says as much about quality of our backs this year as it does about KP. A motivated KP is a useful player to have on board providing you can give him good service. Problem is getting him motivated in the first place. Think he has actually improved a bit in this sense since his last stint with us but its still his biggest flaw IMO.

Given unexpected loss of raynor at this stage of recruitment and other teams looking for 3/4's we may not be able to be too choosy. Only realistic targets I've seen floating about who could potentially offer anything are goulding,pryce and smith.

If we are indeed going to be signing Karl Pyrce I hope that the club make it very clear to him that he's very much in the 'last chance saloon'.



I mean he left us and flopped us Union, didn't make the grade at Wigan, and presumably is not now wanted by Quins / London. If it doesn't work out for him next time around with the Bulls then he's most likely have nowhere left to go. Flop next season, and his career as a full-time Rugby player would probably be over.



Some kind of 1 year basic contract with incentives for appearances and tries would be the way to go IMO.

If he keeps getting a signing-on fee every time he switches clubs he must be laughing all the way to the bank.
