There is no doubt in my mind that the type of abuse aimed at Thomas is more offensive than that directed towards Graham but one ought to also consider the scale. I was at the Cas v Crusaders game and didn't hear a single homophobic remark despite standing no more than 50 yards from where the chanting in question took place......because there was a minute number of 'people' involved. Listening to the TV coverage at Leeds v Saints it sounded like most of the South Stand was frequently spewing abuse of some kind.....contrary to the game's respect policy.



Regarding comments alluding to the fact that Graham appears unconcerned by his treatment, it might be worth noting that Thomas is also reported to have found amusing derogatory remarks made about his sexuality by his team mates.



I therefore doubt Thomas was wounded by his Jungle experience so what the RFL has done and what we are doing here is probably having the exact effect he desires....raising his profile and selling more books.

On the off-chance you aren't I consulted a Rhino workmate who was in the South Stand and his estimate of those chanting derogatory statements about Graham's folical and bodily attributes was in the thousands.

I would suggest that's a rhetorical question.

I was stood under the screen on the west terrace and it was claerly heard there.But dont forget,on or off the field,Leeds never do wrong.

Only stating what i heard from where i was stood.Fwiw,i deplored the chanting at saints regarding Barry McDermotts eye and the chant aimed at Terry Newton.But really,its all part of the game and i never posted anything on internet boards about it.What i never did was deny that it went on.

As for the 'strawberry blond haired overweight prop',well most of the NRL clubs are after him,which is more than can be said for any other Super league players,so he's not doing that bad is he?
