From what I've seen on nights out in town this venue is popular with the Saints players. I wonder what could have happened for this to happen. My sister was out in St. Helens last night but I think she was home before the alleged incident took place.



I hope this incedent wouldn't put people off going out in St. Helens, I was out on Saturday night into the wee small hours of Sunday and had an enjoyable evening and didn't see any trouble at all.

I stopped going out in St Helens years ago, Its terrible.

The better parts of Liverpool (L1, palm sugar etc.). are great and I have never seen any trouble there.

Murray tweeted about it earlier, but has since deleted it, probably as it is better for the police to know than the whole world.



An astonishing piece of cowardice, I'd happily pay to see them in a ring one at a time against Martin Murray to see what the result would be. I have a feeling they wouldn't be so willing in such a level situation.

Would a public boycott of the venue by Sts players and fans not be a good idea? If Sts management has any sense they'll be warning your team to stay away for a while anyway.
