Rougues forgot to mention the rule brought out by the Billinge Lump Choral Society, which states 2 points deducted for every player signed mid-season when your teams in trouble IE Gleeson and others.

Well put. You know the really ironic thing? If you did a league table like this only counting British points scored even back then in 1994/95 we'd probably come out top, so much of the talent we had was still British, well, the scoring talent anyway. Even if you do take Botica / Henry Paul out of the equation.



Good Friday will be very interesting, we all know the form book goes out of the window. I remember a few years ago Wigan being down to youngsters thanks to injuries, Saints flying high, but we still managed the win. Who knows what will happen.

I think if you take Richards' 118 points out of the 278 you've scored to date you'd be very near the bottom of a GB superleague and right near the top of an overseas league not to mention Roberts, Carmont, Lulu, etc...

Anyway, the point of the thread wasn't to have a go at wigan (tempting though that is) but just to see what effect it would have on the table. Despite all the talk of reducing overseas players in the game I don't really see it happening.
