Yep and Orrell even has better facilities than KR

Our own training base has better facilities than KR tbf but the sorry state of the ground hasn't stopped us competing for trophies.

To be honest I don't know what you are expecting. It was just a rumour wasn't it?



What if they have nothing to announce?

No it wasn't a rumour Mcmanus was on GMR 2 weeks ago and said there will be a major announcement the following week on the new stadium?

So now we know it's Widnes for the whole of 2011

Wigan and Saints due to have press conferences tomorrow, us to announce 2 or 3 signings, you men to announce your new coach? Should be an interesting day.

Well it seems so but there were slightly conflicting quotes, some saying it makes sense to start the new season in the new home and others suggesting its Widnes prior to a late summer move!



I think we just make sure we get everything right, not rushed and move when its ready, most likely 2012...

The most optimistic finish date would only leave us with 2 or 3 home games at the end of the season, and we may not want to start the play offs in a new ground with the players not used to the pitch as Wigan found out when they moved to the JJB.



A new season starting at a new ground is for the best IMO.

Not to mention we don't get any gate receipts for play offs until the end and even then they are shared out.



I agree I'd much rather wait till 2012 then it be rushed for the sake of 3 matches
