Very glad about this. I might feel differently if I was Mrs Reardon or her fella, but I am sure there are worse scrotes that Leon up to worse on a regular basis. Just glad he wasn't 'made an example of'.
Community service seems to be a reasonable punishment. He should have been ordered to do it in the sweaty mankini though.

Anybody think the club will take further action ?
My instincts suggest they won't. He is too important a player to us and in line with the actual circumstances and his sentence, I don't think we'll see anything further for the club except a statement saying the sentence has been made and its time to move on etc etc.

He could murder Big Mac, shove his arm up st bernard and turn up for training in a wigoon shirt each day, he will still get a gig in the first team each week though.
Maybe the club shuld make him "get out" more, around the town I mean, get into the schools, go spread tha tbig smile of his around the town and show what a nice lad he is...of course he can take the CC with him, or the hubcap.
