Welcome to the NEW RLFANS.COM. After twenty-five years of service, the old site expired over the last few days. To maintain service we have had no option but to make an early switch to the new site which was in development/testing. Some elements of the new site are unfinished, such as; page numbering and quotations. We will fix these minor issues as soon as we can, please bear with us. If you are having problems logging in, please try a different browser or platform, if problems persist then email support@rlfans.com
looking at his two outings at full back i think he would make a better no 7 when Walsh goes fleet of foot pacy everything that goes with a no 7 aka Longy. For me he is to lightweight for a no 1.He seems to be able to be there when needed but of course he might not stay either.Do we have any no7s coming thro the ranks?.What is his prefered position?

Quote="Saddened!"I'd love to keep him personally. Really like him. We need that backup merchant style player. He'd score 40 over a season from
">fullback.'"
I think the early signs are promising certainly. As others have stated, his support play is of a high level and we've already benefited from that with his tries against Huddersfield and his involvement in the winner last Thursday. You'd like to think that this will improve the more he plays and he'll score tries. Particularly liked his try in the Hudds game where he finished off Robes' break around the ruck. Looks solid under the high ball so far but again it's early days to judge.
Hopefully his understanding with Walsh, Burns and Roby will improve as time goes on and we'll see more of him coming into the line and threatening teams running off the guys mentioned.
Think he's showed some good signs in his first few games though.
