I have been to see Saints before but it was at Knowsley Road and will be at the game this coming Friday.

Can anybody recommend a pub with a decent atmosphere before the game that is close by?

Also are there any pubs with Sky Sports close by after that will be showing the Wire-Widnes game?

Choice of Alfred, Swan, Rendezvous and the one that has been a Saints pub long before the lure of Langtree money lit up the eyes of others The George.

The big chains make their coin all week round and nationwide, help the locals.

It's normally opens hrs before kick off but a Friday Morning who knows?

I'm going the U19's game tonight so hopefully it will be open and can ask about Friday.

At least there's a guarantee The George is open. Might be a bit hit and miss before the game.

I like to go there once the rush has died down. I find it difficult to get served before and immediately after the game. One things for certain is you're bound to get talking rugby league in there to someone.
