I doubt that. It seems Wigan want shut of Hock from the reports we've heard so far. If that's true, it's unlikely they would hold out for the entire fee they were due, unless the only viable club was a rival, like Saints or Warrington.

Goulding said Hock had signed a 4 year deal with the Eels.
Right club wrong details re a contract.
I can't see Lenagan allowing Hock to go anywhere without a substantial fee.
Joel T went for £240k and IL bought three players with that whilst having some change left over. His brother may well leave sometime and IL will want a fortune for him.
Allowing Hock to go without a large fee would give the wrong impression to clubs who may come after Wigan players under contract.

It's fairly certain that Hock wasn't the instigator of this proposed move so disloyalty doesn't come into it, unless of course, he put the club and coach in a position were they had to act.
Anyhow, currently, he's staying at Wigan for the 2013 season and maybe some broken fences can be fixed but going on past evidence, he'll blow a fuse again at some stage. Hocky's like that nursery rhyme, when he's good, he's very very good but when he's bad he's horrid.
