I wouldn't necessarily say they are streets ahead. Come the sticky end of the season, Leeds, Wigan, wolfs, cats, saints, hudds and hull will all be in with a shout, plus another team who emerges from the pack which could be virtually anyone. Welcome to the world of a working salary cap and increasingly level playing field. Teams can longer guarantee to be part of the big four, or six or seven, and that's good for the game, if a little tough to take for the chicken licken brigade | | |

ref the salary cap,it would very interesting to know how much headroom we have because based on the players in the squad there should be plenty. | | |
