Jesse Skepper is somewhere up above me on my family tree. He is referred to on the saints heritage site:

..and i also remember once reading something about his involvement in the beginnings of knowsley road - however i can't seem to find that reference now (albeit after only a brief search online).



Can anyone confirm or/and expand on his involvement with the Saints?



ps, my grandad was also called Jesse Skepper and I believe he was named after the chap involved with Saints. My grandad was born around 1910 so the man in question must have been born mid to late 1800s.
