Totally agree. Not only our best tackler but our best player IMO' he is absolutely fantastic. Every game is 100 percent and this season he as been ripping teams to bits. Although Wigan turned us over, roby was the best player on the pitch.

Pound for pound, Roby is right up there with the hardest tacklers I've seen. Although he has some way to go to top Andrew Johns. Geoff Toovey was no slouch, either.

McCracken WAS a big hitter. But then he was a pretty big player also. Certainly not P4P top 10.

Geoff Toovey is a good shout as is Allan Langer. Roby reminds me a lot of Toovey and with all due respect to Toovey, Roby is one hell of a tackler, particularly in the British game. Pound for pound Roby is right up there, in fact the only guy who comes close from a British perspective is Mick Cassidy. IMO Cassidy was one of the most underrated players of his generation, however even his great work rate doesn't compare to Roby's. Roby may never be the greatest player in a particular position but his work rate and contribution to [iThe S[/i can never be under estimated.
