According to Farah Ellis adds a lot defensively. Sheens commented that they didn't feed his side much ball, impressive stats though.

Really pleased for Ellis and hope he can sustain that kind of performance.

I think that Gaz has the ability to make a real success of his move down under, much the same as Mozza did in his time there, it may take him a season to fully adapt to the different conditions, but i believe that he will leave the NRL with his reputation enhanced

I watched the game and it was cracking! Ellis put on some good hits. The only real error was a charge off the line that missed, that fortunately didn't result in a try.



As to the Wests, I think they need to learn how to use him in attack as much as he needs to learn there patterns. He even had a couple of good runs for the 10 that I felt if he had still been at Leeds support players would have picked up. But that could easily be blue and amber rose tinted glasses





Benji M tended to kick to the left when attacking the final 10. Oh and the commentators were impressed with him.
