Just got back from HQ . There were quite a few there . Carnegie full . North Stand 2/3 full . Conservative guestimate at 5k attendance . Not bad for a rainy Bank Holiday afternoon .

Judging by the traffic coming away I would say a few more than that.

The CUP / CLUB wording has definitley changed .



Somebody made a guess at an attendance of 7k today . I knocked a couple of k off their estimate because I was on Carnegie Terrace at SS corner so couldn't see what was in the upper tier .



I have been to away games where there were a heck of a lot less people in attendance . Even Sir Kev mentioned that he was surprised by the amount of people there today , and said that there was more than we usually get for GF presentations .

I've just now looked at it on my phone instead of my computer and it says Club, but it did originally say Cup, honestly

...must be because mine & fatboy's computers cached the url before the image changed.

I doubt if there was anywhere near 11k . Empty West Terrace . Only three stewards on the South Stand . 2/3 full East Stand .. Taking into consideration the ground capacity I think he may have been counting feet instead of faces .



I will give you 8k at a push , but not much more than that .



Regardless of how many were there , and does anyone really care , it was a magnificent turn out .

The band at today's home coming were different.

I have heard better on karaoke , especially the opening few lines of We Are The Champions .



Fair play to them though . It was cold , wet , and windy . You wouldn't have got me stood out there singing in a t-shirt today .

They said on twitter they printed 40 shirts before correcting the mistake so don't panic too much, unless you want the collecters edition.

SEEMS a few people were having spelling problems today .

All this talk about shirts has made me remember about one I own but had forgotten about until just now.



The 1999 home shirt signed by all the cup wining squad of that year as well as the man Graham Murray himself. Bloody fantastic shirt that I've just dug out tonight.

2004 to 2014 is 11 years. But "golden just over a decade" doesn't have the same ring to it.

I guess all the typos and errors are more understandable when you consider that they sent an email to people within 25 minutes of the hooter, offering the chance to pre-order all these new goods!



Not sure the inscriber will have had chance even to put 'Leeds' on the trophy (if it is inscribed on it - i'm not sure?) in that time!

I'm guessing that such items will have been planned well before the final hooter so that they could send mails out immediately . The will not have waited to see if we won before sitting down and designing celebratory merchandise . No excuses .

Nothing criminal in making an error or three . I make a fair few myself . Though you would expect a company as big as the one we follow to be a bit more professional in their execution of such a simple task .

It can also be 10 years. If you take October 2004 to October 2014 it's 10 years.
