If we bring in a left Centre then it’s been a good off season for recruitment. Next year we are likely to lose Austin, Sezer, Donaldson, Fusitua, Tetevano and perhaps Tindall too, plenty of room there to continue the evolution.

Yep. Two halves might take a lot of bedding in. If Sezer can prove his fitness I'd look to keep and then pull out the stops to get Mikey Lewis, who is off contract at the end of 2023.

Not sure if we can blame them for reporting it if Burgess talks about it every time somebody pops a microphone in front of him. The most telling thing in these reports is that it always comes across has his retirement plan. In other words, not while the NRL still wants me, but maybe some day. No matter how good he is ( and he's been excellent) we shouldn't be throwing big money at prop forwards in their thirties.

They should let RU take him. The ARU are in a financial mess. One decent player isn't going to make any difference.

Given what I’ve seen of the Centres on show, I’d not be interested in MacDonald, Lanai on the other hand…

Yes we should send our 19 year old superstar over to Rugby Union, what a ridiculous response, they’re clearly not in such a financial mess if they can offer league players $10M contracts.

Union can afford to offer Suaalii this because of all the money their International game generates. Yet we have fans complaining left right and centre when we price ours from £25 for World Cup fixtures, claiming our World Cup tickets are too expensive and should be £5/£10. You can’t complain we have no money in our game to keep our best players and also not be willing to put any money into our game.
