On the evidence of last week that is certainly the case. However on paper we have strengthened our props. Lisone is clearly lacking match fitness, but he is getting in the minutes so that should come sooner rather than later. Rohan has made some pretty bold statements about him, so we have to be positive. Sangare looks very good, and did last year too. Holroyd is 22 and really needs to step up this year. If he really is "miles off" he's way behind his peers. I'm hopeful that he is going out there to make a point this week.

Holroyd is bound to be well behind though given his injuries. He needs a full season being fully fit before he gets anything like.

Makes me wonder why Walters wasn't given a chance. I'd put him in ahead of tetavano currently.

I actually don't think he's as far away as you think. Physically he's a big lad, and he's also had a full pre-season as well as trial games. If he is going to live up to the potential we hope he has, surely it should start this year.

I'd like to see mcdonnell in the back row as I think he would add some grit on and off the ball in the absence of Bentley.

Has the feel of an important game. Maybe because we've been, and might continue to be, a very streaky side. Just hoping a Furner-esque run isn't just round the corner. I'll go Leeds by a single score.

Regarding Holroyd he may have slimmed down a bit much and needs to build back a little. He is still a puppy in prop terms. A few years ago Mik came out of preseason with a huge backside but has now found his shape and matured. Holroyd needs some luck and time and hopefully he can develop under Smith.

They started off well, exploiting kr around the ruck and playing quick but kr have come good and played well. Both teams though playing with tempo.

Salford were good to watch when the passes were sticking. They needed to be a good deal smarter when that intensity and focus inevitably dipped. A very similar performance to when we last played them.

Biggest surprise for me in last nights game is the way Croft drifted out of the game in the 2nd half. I've been looking forward to watching Opocic this season and last night didnt catch the eye but did a great job in controlling Lafai
