They would conversely do a hell of a lot more than [icomplementing[/i them.

They often refer to the fact that every good SL side needs a good Spine to it, much the same then that it's players also need a Spine too IMO

New autumn signings are made as marketing tools prior to the sale of next years season tickets, and also fodder for a baying mob who usually require some excuse, however slim, to convince their partners/parents that its really good value, honest, I get to attend all of this stuff free next year and then theres this new Australian as well...



Next season the club don't want any more than the usual number of slavering faithful as there is nowhere to keep any extras, don't expect to see any marketing tool signings this year.

We're signing Rangi Chase and Lesley Vainikolo.

Whilst we are no doubt in need of some quality adding to the squad ,speculating on the SC we have available has to consider the new delas that Watkins ,Bjb ,Hall and others have signed.

Dont forget Kirke! The lynchpin of our side must have had an increase due to his sparkling form.

Can I ask why we need to spend the cap just for spendings sake? Why not keep the spare cash, blood the youth for another season and knowing we have cap room, try to sign some good players for 2013 when they become available next year? Otherwise we just end up being Bradford.

Or, are saved to be announced when the fans need something "positive" to concentrate on. For example, the day after you've driven down to Wembley for the 2nd year running to watch your team totally outclassed by a superior outfit.

I don't think it's a case of "having to" H more a case of willing to so that we get more quality in which is what's needed to be fair.
