| They were all sh-te tonight.
Only German Jim can take any credit for the shift he put in in defence.

| Handley was targeted rightly by Wigan all night, Hall didn't touch the ball for 20 minutes through no fault of his own.Wigan nullified Hall, through a very clever game plan.
I'm pretty sick of the Hall bashing, he has acted as a work horse for Leeds since Senior finished and his service diminished with Moon as his centre and our style of play.

That's because they kicked to Handley mostly, Hall didn't do much wrong really. Took a good catch off a short kickoff and ran across the line a few times only to see no forwards make a run onto the ball.

Why are some players immune to criticism. Hall is a tank but runs it in like he's scared at times. Yeah, Handler was targeted. But when he ran it in he did so looking like he wanted to break through. Hall seemed to wait for the tackle.
I like Hall, but tonight, when one of his big charges would have got us going, it wasn't there.
It's weak to use not being kicked to as an excuse. He's built his career on getting to the middle to take it in. After last week I expected a reaction from him, but there was nothing.
He wasn't our worst player, but easily the worst winger on the pitch.
I could have easily mentioned the majority of the team

| Not sure how any one in their right mind can defend Ryan Hall this year. He has lost any pace he had, can't tackle and is average under the high ball. As mentioned Keinhorst was the only one who showed any pride tonight. Half backs none existant, forwards outplayed and the backs once again did nothing. And before anyone claims we are depleted well Wigan were hardly at full strength.

We're missing our captain/playmaker, two of our first choice three quarters, our whole 2nd row and loose, plus our hooker is coming back from injury. Wigan were nowhere near as depleted.

he isn't immune. But lets not make him the scape goat for this.Because he didn't ride in on a white charger and rescue a team on the back foot all night is not a good enough reason for me to criticise him.We have far bigger issues than our wingers.Just saying

They aren't and last week he was quite rightly slated. God knows what you expected from him tonight in the overall showing were he was hardly kicked to.

Might beat Wakey if we're lucky and BJB feels sorry enough for his former colleagues

I'm not making him a scapegoat. Didn't say this was because Hall was pants. Mentioned that he was outplayed by Handley in sheer effort. A winger isn't only good when kicked to, he spends enough time covering round after the kick.
Feck me!!! A small comment about Hall being outplayed by his other winger. We've seen how much of an impact it makes when he runs it in hard and gets us on the front foot. Well it's not happening at the mo. And that is frustrating. Yeah we were on the back foot, but my point was Handley ran it in much harder and with more purpose.
Jimmy outplayed Watkins. Cuthbo the other props. I'm not making them scapegoats. Merely expressing my opinion that players didn't perform as well as others. As a team we were crap
It was a e performance. Can mention the players we had missing but there was enough quality to at least challenge a poor Wigan team. First half, some of our experienced guys let us down by making poor decisions and stupid plays when we should have been going for field position.

This. Wigan had a clever game plan to take out the threats we had left, and picked away at the carcass later on.

| Last season when Hall was busting through the line it was on the back of a dominant pack that had soften up opposing defences. This year, so far the pack haven't been dominating the opposition at all and to ask Hall to come charging through on his white horse and save an ailing side is ludicrous, especially with Wigan's game plan tonight.
Our problem is poor last tackle options, not respecting field position, no direction from a captain. How much are we missing Mags, will be interesting once he's back in the team

Positions 1,6,7,9 and 13 are considered to be your pivots in rugby league.
Wigan had three of those missing and Leeds had one (two if you count Ward who you don't always play at loose as you choose to go with an extra prop more often then not).
We also had a starting prop and a starting second rower out.
Literally not a leg to stand on for Leeds when it comes to injuries tonight.

True but at the same time the changes Wigan could make had more experience to them. O'Loughlin filling in compared to Lilley filling in for example.
But Wigan had this period during 2014/15 when they had to blood youngsters when first teamers were missing and now it's our turn.
We managed to lift 4 of the 6 trophies on offer to all English teams during them two seasons though whilst Wigan still could be looking at a third trophyless season.

It's a testiment to our squad depth and versatility I suppose that we can shuffle the pack and get a decent side out there. I've just heard it a few too many times this week that Leeds have a lot of injuries. You're have big a bad trot but so are many teams and I think we had more quality and players of more importance to our overall style of play sat in the stands then Leeds did.
As for us going a third year trophy less there's every chance. Once everyone is fit and healthy across the board it'll be a tight call between Wigan, Leeds, Wire and Saints for the trophies IMO. I also feel Cas could Spring a surprise and challenge for one this year.

| Just a bit of information to you all who might of been in the away end or watched on sky (not sure if sky got it). Ferress was doing all the talking under the sticks to the team after Leeds conceded a try. Seemed to be the only one leading. Found it surprising considering JJB was on the pitch.

| Ferres may not be as dynamic as some would wish for but in fairness he has consistently put in big shifts with big minutes and big effort. He was our top metre maker by a long way, he made the most carries and offloads (including some silly ones like his teammates) and he also made 35 tackles and as many tackle busts as the total from 7 of his fellow forwards: Galloway, JJB, Mullally, Garbutt, Singleton, Achurch, Falloon added together.
