Fair enough. I think it would be stupid to go with 2 props. We got away with it against a Wakefield side who were already on the beach, but I can't see us doing it against Saints.

Personally I would praise Tony Smith for making such a brave decision, it could be one of these decisions that could take us to Old Trafford. No doubt if we don't win the Smith bashers will be on here straight away

There's the rub. It certainly would be a brave decision, but so was dropping Barry for the 2005 final and we know how that worked out. I'm all for the coach being strong enough to make decisions, like he did with Adamson in 2004, but sometimes it's better to play the percentages and take the "easy" option. This, again in my opinion, is one of those times.

Maybe Thackray has not been selected due to his ball retention. You dont want too much dropped ball in games like these

Because Thackray cost us 3 points on the run in with vital handling errors. At the Wakey game everyone earned the right to retain their jersey.



Bailey shouldn't get near a 1st team jersey again this year.



I do not expect us to win this game by taking on Saints pack so a lack of front rowers aint no biggie.
