I do wonder if Elliott might want regular first team football now, and now that Wirtz has come in, he will be further down the pecking order as Slot seemed to prefer Szobozsiai in the 10 role last year... 

I've thought Elliott would be perfect for a club like Leeds, he would have the same effect as Gibbs White has had at Forrest, he kept them in the premier league and helped them kick on, very good players both of them. He'd cost an arm and a leg though but he's worth it... 


 

We do need to be smart no doubt, but we need to get the right players in. The lad is very good but for that price it looks a bit too heavy. But the proof with be in the pudding, let’s see what else they’ve got up their sleeve and let’s hope they’ve got it right, Leeds clearly rated Diarra.

That still leaves us with 6 players to come in imo.

farke has never played with a back 3/5. plus if he did james, ramazani and gnoto would be surplus as the wing backs would be wide.
