Quote ="chapylad"I agree with the association of Rhinos in blue and amber.
But for me the kit is so dreary and outdated.
We complain that the game doesn`t move on and we need to improve the image.
Then we revert to a strip that was used "back in the day"
I know it`s about how we perform on the pitch but we need to step into the now or future rather than the past when promoting the product.'"
If “stepping into the future” is Leeds Rhinos wearing a kit similar to that I played Sunday League football in back in the 80’s then it’s not for me. If the likes of Liverpool and Man Utd can sell millions of shirts across the world every season that are a slight twist on the traditional kit and still with the original colours I don’t see why it’s so difficult for us to create an appealing kit design in blue and amber every 12 months. A massive part of the appeal of clubs like Liverpool and Man Utd is the history and tradition, and that is first and foremost represented in the kits that are easily recognised. Our home kit this year looked like something you’d get from Seacroft Market back in the day. Cheap, tacky and not even our primary club colours.
