Quote ="Sir Kevin Sinfield"Take your kids swimming, to the cinema, bowling, to Elland Road you’ll be paying, I don’t know why it would be different at Headingley. £5 is great value, as are kids season tickets. Getting on the pitch at half time is a bonus. Enjoy the occasion.'"
Not the same scenarios though are they? Take your kid swimming etc, you pay for the facilities and service. What are the kids paying for? They play a game of rugby and wave the flags.
I'm in a position where the £5 isn't a problem, but there's families without much disposable income. And they don't want their kids to miss out. I know the club need to make money, so why let the coaches in for free? Would they not pay to go swimming or bowling? So your argument is flawed right there.
The kids absolutely love this opportunity and it's a great way to grow the fanbase and sport. Get them hooked and the £5 free ticket will be a small drop in the income ocean. They should see it as an investment. I dont expect 6ou to agree, and I dont agree with you
