So just got to watch the programme. My overwhelming emotion after watching this is Pride. What a wonderful human being Rob is and how much strength he can draw from his loving family and friends.
He is truly living with MND, long may that continue...
Absolute Legend and absolutely heart breaking to see him in this way what a awful disease. I really do feel for the man and his family. Keep fighting Rob.
Hi all. Long time reader of the site. I live in Madrid with my family and was telling my 8-year-old daughter about Rob Burrow the other day; all the great memories he created for my family on the pitch and how admirably he and his family are conducting themselves off the pitch.
My daughter asked what she could do to help his family, and we have decided to walk a marathon on 7 November to try and raise funds. Seven members of my family, aged 12 to 62, will be walking a marathon at the same time in Leeds, making ten of us in total. All donations will be transferred to the Leeds Rhinos gofundme page set up for Rob.
Obviously most readers may already have made their contributions elsewhere but if anyone is inclined to donate for this walk, any support is very gratefully received. Thanks in advance. The page is the following:
