Ha! Yes I remember that. Happy days. Those were the days when myself, my brother and late dad used to have "our" regular spot midway along the the South Stand. There was a group of women, who stood down to the right of us, who could always be reliably depended on for bringing those glorious warming spirit hip flasks to share. How we used to perversely use to 'hate' the big games when we had to set off earlier to secure "our" spots and then have to endure the reduced comfort of reasonable space around you.
Worse...losing your spot altogether to some damn alien opposition supporter(s). The Hull lot were usually the worst for this 'crime'.
Memories memories....but as the deaths of David Bowie and now Terry Wogan (both of whom I have spent my whole life growing up with) have highlighted, time marches inexorably onwards. Even Kevin Dick is a very old man now
