In fact wish Sky was that flattering in it's praise instead of always looking for the negatives

It was indeed a fabulous match to best advertise all that is good about the game as I stated elsewhere (including the refereeing performance). Percival's first try I conceded was probably the most skilfull of the lot with the 2 on 4 .....it is one of life's travesties that RL is not in the ascendency over RU.



It is a refreshingly honest appraisal that highlights the skills the RL players have over their RU counterparts. The article mentions the bewilderment I always find when watching Home Nation Interntionals in that so many of these 'elite' (by nature of their international selection) players so often fail to apply the basics in effective passing down the line with clear overlaps.

To be frank the defenders messed up with that try. Quinlan did well but one of the defenders should have stayed out - ending up having a bunch of defenders go for (and miss) the guy with the ball and nobody marking the support properly is not good defence.
