The North Stand had a new roof in 2004 and, of course, the paddock was seated in 1991 (ish) at which time the entire infrastructure underneath the stand was also rebuilt almost from scratch.



Is it ideal? No. But it's had a lot of money spent on it all the same.

I heard that when Leeds Cricket, Football and Athletic Company sold the cricket ground to YCCC there was an agreement that the North Stand would be redeveloped as part of a joint venture. The YCCC then went and blew all their dosh on the pig-ugly stand thing and had nowt left for the North Stand redevelopment.

The Western Terrace is appalling yes it has a screen but exposed to the elements? even Halifax and Leigh don't subject their fans to that?
