Barrow reminds me of the 90-0 cup game against Barrow in about 1990.
My only recollections of that game was the Barrow physio/trainer/water carrier, who looked like Billy Bunter and wore a bobble hat, and the fact they were sponsered by Cumbria Co-op.
As to who played or scored...not a clue.
Did we not put 70+ past Leigh a week or two later?
I've got vague recollections of even Rob Ackerman looking good in those Leigh and Barrow games, but it could just be my old memory playing tricks again...
IIRC, the 90-0 team featured Hugh Waddell, who had yet to score a try for Leeds, following his summer transfer. He didn't score in that game either, despite Leeds getting (again IIRC) 17 tries. I think Waddell broke his duck away at Leigh, scoring a double.
