Ward the dropkicked a goal to make it 5-4 to Bradford with 15 minutes to go.



Then up popped the famous Trevor Foster who picked up a loose ball after Cook had ballsed up an ineffective punt from Carmichael, to trott over the line for a try with a minute to go to seal the Bradford Victory.



Actually, the coach of the day for Bradford, Dai Rees, had previously got a winners medal as a player for Halifax against York of all teams in 1931.
